No physical form, therefore no nerve endings, therefore no pain. So when they tell me soul will burn, I won't feel it. Cool.

I haven't told you your soul will burn, so respectfully, if your should go to heaven the Bible says there is no pain or tears. However, in hell, there will be gnashing, and an eternal flame and those present will wish they could die but can't and whoever goes there will feel it.

I never really thought about it, but I don't believe that a soul does feel pain. Pain, while being a real physical condition, does not have to be experienced as suffering. It is only in the mind that suffering exists. You can be in pain and decide to experience it as joy. It's a personal decision.
And you can't feel the soul burn (as in the fires of hell) because hell does not exist except as a belief. If you believe you will burn then you will experience that as a temporal state of mind.

um.... yes..souls feel pain. God said God is Spirit and we are made in His Image... we feel pain because we have emotions. According to God the greatest pain is to be separated from Him. To be sentenced into hell because of sin ( sin is also absence from God and causes huge pain.. ) is to be separated from God..thus incredible pain which does not end... according to God worse than any physical pain we can imagine ...
Better to try to obey Jesus HIS way than to contemplate pain without end.

i think you are wrong in your thinking .. a person in hell will feel everlasting pain and anguish...you should read the bible.. read matthew 5:22...matthew 18: 9 when we die our soul goes back to god who gave it and there will be a time when we all will be accountable for our deeds here on earth.. and if you do not believe in the lord jesus christ then i shudder to think where you will spend eternity....i really do not think you should be joking about this cause it is one of the most important decisons in your life.. try reading the bible and getting to know the lord and i know i not only think that you are thinking very wrong...the devil comes to kill, steal and destroy.. and god is love and he wants all his children to seek him and live moral lives.. but there will come the day as i said where we will all be held accountable for our lives here on earth....
