If you do not respect the laws of the country enough to obey them, you do not deserve to be allowed into that country!!!

The manner in which a person enters any country is irrelevant, after all countries are nothing more than fictitious borders created by those that happen to be in control at the time. Everything west of the Mississippi was once part of Spain, does it matter now how United Statesians entered that territory? Does it matter how the US obtain the land that today constitutes the United Statesian south west? Clearly not.

Borders are created by a small group of people that happen to be in power at the time, eventually another group of people will move those borders to suit their fancy. The border with Mexico will someday move don’t know if north or south or if Mexico and the US will become a single nation or both absorbed by a third even more powerful, the point is that borders are temporary meaningless political creations for economic purposes. And as such they will move according to the mandates of greed of those in power.

Look at the bigger picture and become a citizen of the world, then you will elevate yourself to that of a great man. Improve yourself and become a cosmopolitan man, the word comes from a Greek phrase, which means "citizen of the world". The first person we know to have used this word about himself was Diogenes the Cynic in the 4th Century BC.

I feel disgusted about it. According to the PEW Hispanic research center The majority do not want amnesty nor do they care about assimilation. They do not want to learn the language or to make any attempt to understand American culture. Amnesty is a slap in the face to All legal Americans, but the injustice must feel worse to those immigrants who had the respect for America to take the time and money to enter the right way. Systematic deportations will in fact work.

It is an absolute disgrace. All other laws are enforced here except immigration laws on the books. Why do Mexicans, in particular, think they should be above all laws? What is special about them? The only thing that they seem to be able to do better than anyone else is have more kids they can't support. Oh, yeah...they don't have to. The American government does that for them.

Secure the borders and stop the flow and then darlin.......give me a better solution.

Prison........aren't we a bit overburdened in that area
Deportation.......HOW, how are you going to get 11 million illegals to line up in an orderly fashion
Shoot them......this has been brought up quite a bit (too my horror and always makes me throw up a bit)

So answers.......please.....give me an answer that MAKES sense and I am all over it.

A little reminder as well......and one that rears it ugly head whenever I talk about this plight. Some of these people have been here for no less than 20 years. They are not felons, leeches. They are hardworking families with strong ties and probably have woken up everyday WISHING they knew how or who could make it right for them. I know it is probably a small number......but I can't get that small number out of my head.

Peace

They should not be able to gain citizenship. they came here illegally and should be sent back from where they came from. America does not need citizens who abuse the law, and insult Americans. They would be a pollution on American soil. and they threaten the American way of life. We as Americans should stand up and end everything those illegals are trying to represent. they are destroying our great nation.

No one else gets to pick and choose what laws they obey and what laws they disregard, so unless illegals return to their country of origin and do what is required, filling the forms, medical screening, criminal check, and getting to the back of the line....they are not welcome to citizenship.

The law is the law is the law. I am held totally accountable because I am an American citizen.

Illegals should be held to the same standard.

Why should they automatically get citizenship just because they broke the law and came here when they are so many people waiting to enter our country legally?

NO! They should have to earn it just like everyone else. No free ride to citizenship. I also heard that the same laws that we want to pass to stop illegal immigrants coming here, That Mexico are protesting America not to do, THEY HAVE THE VERY SAME LAWS THAT THEY ARE PROTESTING AMERICAN NOT TO .

I QUITE AGREE WITH ANYONE WHO THINKS THAT THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY STILL GET CITIZENSHIP EVEN AFTER COMING HERE ILLEGALLY, BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO COME HERE, SO THEY MUST BE ALLOWED TO!

HOWEVER, IMMIGRANTS MUST ALSO (LEGAL OR ILLEGAL ONES) BE ENCOURAGED TO FIND AND KEEP A JOB FOR AT LEAST ONE WHOLE MONTH, BEFORE THEY CAN GET CITIZENSHIP.

I think its a crock....U.S. citizens have been paying for all the things that the illeagals have been abusing and they have absolutely no rights here...!! If an U.S. citizen were to goto Mexico...they would get nothing..zilch...zero...if they didnt get shot trying to get in illeagally so how can an illeagal complain here in America for possibly getting a free ticket home or for having to do something to gain citizenship...let alone having jobs, medicaid, etc....
