They are your best friend. Don't mess that up by having sex.

A) Are you ready to have a permanent relationship (ie. get married)?(1)
B) Could you marry this person?
C) If the answer to either A or B is no, keep it platonic. Once you've hooked up there's no turning back, so there's no sense in getting non-platonically involved in any way if you aren't ready to move towards marriage, and agreed with your intended that that's what you both want.
D) If you can marry this person, then ask if they'd be open to discussing it with you. Then do it (if they are), then things ought to pretty much happen by themselves.
God bless

Maybe u should let him know u have an intrest in him ans see where it goes. U should know if u start something with them that things will change. It could be the beginning of a beautiful thing or it could be the end of a friendship. Men don't always catch hints very well, so u must let them know whats on ur mind.

Perhaps your friend is not willing to give up the friendship for sex. It will happen if it's gonna happen, stop pushing so hard.
Maybe if you seek out another guy your friend will notice you finally. People always want what they can't have (ie: you want your bud that you can't have).

I am some what in the same boat. Why do you feel that you have to have sex with them? You can build on your friendship and when the timing is right it will happen and you won't have to force them into wanting to or making them have sex with you they will be jumping at the opportunity to share that aspect with you.

Maybe they're just not that interested in you that way... if so, a long conversation is in order to make sure the two of you are on the same page in terms of priorities. If you are on the same page, and things still don't happen, maybe that last step is one that needs to be taken.

do u like your best friend, or do u want him just for sex? if its the earlier, i suggest u tell him your feelings before hopping into bed. if its just for sex, find someone else. u'll ruin the friendship and your persistence could disgust him.

You need to ask him point blank if he is interested in having a relationship with you!

your best friend ? that's weird maybe he or she doesn't want it to not ruin your friendship. or you start it by kissing and licking touching biting than it will happen.
