couldn't all these other religions still believe in our christian God, just call him by a different name, and if they believe whole heartedly in thier God they would go to heaven?

No, because God says he is the only God and we are not to build idols to bow down to. Most other religions have idols that they worship. If these other "gods" where the God then it would be like God is contradicting himself, which we know is not possible.
Leviticus 19:4
"Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God. "
Psalm 96:5
For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
Also, God said that there is but one way to Him. Jesus Christ. You cannot find God through Allah, or Buddah. It is through the blood of Jesus Christ alone that you can find God.
John 10:7-10
Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Everyone asks "is there a god?". If you look at every religion, there is some sort of god, if that's christians, muslim, jew or whatever. every religion belives in a higher being so maybe we all do pray to the same god, but somewhere in history we lost his name or what he did, therefore we formed different groups which each have there own theorys and name for him/her.

Well you just killed it with "our Christian God". If that were the real case, then the answer would be YES. But ask "all" these other religions and they will tell yes-but they will describe a god that can not fit into the Biblical description of God.
So the answer is NO.

Perhaps, although God says not to worship any other God (notice how he doesn't say there aren't other gods, he just says not to worship them, which really is almost saying that there are other gods. The early Jews still hadn't fully gotten away from paganism, and if you go back to the original hebrew text for Genesis, the word for "God" actually means "Gods")

Theres a code to the Bible that teaches us that it is the word of God. The first page is page one. Then on the next page it is page 2. 1+1 =2. Then on the next page its page 3. 2+1 equals 3. You see this throughout the entire book! on every page! that if you add one to the page number from the previous page you get the number of page you are currently on.
This proves the Bible is the word of God

I think you should use the term 'why.'
As 'our' seems like everyone is Christian which is false.
It all depends on your beliefs.
You can believe that as I choose not to.
