Iran claims that it needs its program for energy when it controls 2/3 of the worlds Natural gas reserves (dont question that statistic I am a geologist). Besides Iran has a madman running the country.

Nope. See, Iran sits on oil and gas, but that's going to run out. That, and why use that when you can sell it? Get nuclear energy which will come out to be much cheaper in the long run. Don't assume Iran wants uranium enrichment for nukes. They already have nukes, believe it or not. It's actually cheaper to buy them from the former soviet republics than to make them on their own. Hell, when they buy them, they buy H-bombs, but if they were to build them, they'd be making A-bombs (much less power). Now, it is believed that when Iran bought ~50 soviet cruise missles from the ukraine a few years back that they also purchased some nuke warheads for them as well. On top of that, the USSR created 15 suitcase nukes before the wall came down, and it is the opinion of many higher ups in Washington that they now belong to Iran. That's why the CIA announced in '98 that they could no longer keep track of Iran's nuclear ambitions, because they no longer had an idea of what was for sale on the black market that Iran could get their hands on.

Yes, cause EVEN if Iran is legit only seeking nuclear power, they will go thru the whole design process & create a crop of scientists & engineers that know how to make nuclear bombs. They will then send a generation of students to western nuclear engineering schools to come back & operate that industry. They have a significant deposits of uranium that can be made available even without the central govt's approval. They are an islamic fundamentalist nation, the only one, while we are at war with such people, and the leading state sponsor of terrorism. EVEN if they never make bombs & never intend to attack Israel or the US, at some point too many of those things align in favor of well financed terrorists.
If Israel does it then it will be WW3 with no help from our current arab allies.

Should the USA stop enrichment of uSA"S uranium?
It goes both ways, open a pandora box with the atom bomb and tried to keep a seceret, and guess what. Live by the sword die by the sword right?
And isn't the USA "mad" too? So both are evil and both are madmen who think they can rule the world and instead destroy it over some petty bull crap fight cause guess what you we great small poor or rich have no control over anything at all.

Ultimately, the free world needs to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. Iran is a backwater country that is rapidly regressing to 1000 AD, run by religious zealots who think they know God personally (i.e., they are insane).
If they won't stop, eventually, the rest of the world must stop them. I hope the UN is up to the challenge this time.

Well, the fact that they have already been caught having enriched uranium to 'weapons-grade' levels tells us that they intend to make weapons.
And they are crazy enough to use them.
IMO - the only question is: "Will they be stopped before or after somebody's city is destroyed?"

Not to worry, dude. You know Israel will bomb them back to the stoneage as soon as Mossad confirms enrichment to weapon's grade.
And you think Iran doesn't know Israel plays for real when it comes to security matters.
