Well, maybe you've already tried this but here is the suggestion anyway. :). I just searched his name on yahoo and came up with a few web sites with his picture. you could also just try vic.zachary@us.army.mil. Most soldiers have this as an email address, well, I mean they choose this style. Good luck! Oh I copied a couple of the web site shortcuts to my answer but it doesn't look like it worked to well. Also, if you know which base he's from, you can contact the bases Rear Detachment, they'll definitely be able to help you. GOOD LUCK!

that is something you need to be careful with.
When searching for someone specific in the US military the military branch will not give out any information of a individual to just anyone. That encroaches into their privacy and security.
If you have their social security number they can be found because that identifies the sole individual involved, however if you just have his rank it may take a little longer. If you have just his name, that in an of itsself will be a problem as their could be several people in the branches with the exact same name.
However, if this is an emergency...call your local branch of the Red Cross. It is their duty and responsibility to find the military individual regarded and inform them of the emergency.
Emergencies constitute as things like family member deaths and family member medical emergencies where a loss of life might occur. I believe legal emergencies can be handled through the Red Cross aswell, in limited scope....especially if a child's welfare is involved.

Visit your local military base and bring the question up with the gate watch. They will lead you in the right direction.

I would suggest that you locate your subject by contacting the Social Security Administration to varify that he is still receiving pay by his command.
