I want to delete bearshare and download limewire but if I do so will I lose my files?

i believe that downloaded files are stored in a separate file, so when you uninstall bearshare that file will be left on your system, however to be safe you could make a copy of the folder and save it to 'my documents'

Make sure that u put all the files that u already have in other folder not the one shared from the bearshare, so make a new folder put everything there and uninstall the bearshare than download limewire and whenever u have files downloaded move them from ur shared file to other folder.

just save the files from bearshare to another folder u creasted, or if they are in my videos and my music already then they wont get deleted. and limewire is awesome
