Maybe you do still love that person, in 2 years a person changes and moves on towards different things. It is okay to love this person. If you have a relationship with someone, and loved them 2 years ago, no matter what changed between the two of you, there will probably be a little place in your heart for that person. You propably just really care about this person, which is entirely normal- because in one point in your life you chose to include this person as a part of your life. The reasons for falling in love with someone in the first place seem to never leave, its the reasons why things fell apart that seem to fade away.

It does not necessarilly mean that you are still in love with them it means that their memory is still in your mind and i know that for a fact cause i thought the same damned thing when me and my ex broke up i couldnt get him out of my head for many years and i still think about him a lot and wonder how he is. That does not mean that i am in love with him and sometimes it depends on the break up too there still could be guilty feelings there if the break up was for a reason that the problem was caused by you.

Well, I wouldn't say you love them; you may have the good memory of the old time that keeps coming, which makes you think passionately about him/her. As long as you keep imagining the good old days, picturing this in your mind, you will have a positive feeling towards the person, which sometimes leads to a renewed or second time relationship with the person.

Not necessarily!! I broke up with someone just less than 2 years ago and have always thought of him until i had a dream of a very close friend of mine and i awoke to find all feelings of him gone and new ones developed for my friend. We are now very happy together. I just had to wait for the right time. So "time is the essance" as they say!! Be patient and things will too change for you!!

Depends on the person, I think back to old flames when Ive had a fight with my fiance, I dont fancy them I simply block out the bad times i had with them, and just focus on the good times and its wrong, no ex is worth it, after all theyre an EX!
I would never go back with an ex, the're ex for a reason remember that always!

it depends what your thoughts are that you are still having about them! and did you break up with them? if so, then maybe you are still having some form of sub conscious guilt thoughts.
otherwise, i guess its just pretty normal to still think about someone who has had an impact on your life in the way that relationships can.
and only you can say if you love someone or not, if you miss them terribly etc etc then get your **** into gear and ring them, see how they are, go out on a date!

Everyone that you have been with will have a little place in your heart ...... that is only human to do so ...... I don't believe that people can stay together for life in all cases ..... and love simply comes and goes but memories seldom die. You should cherish your thoughts and look forward to new experiences and loves in your life. Just wish your ex a happy life and good fortune ... you will be a better person for it.

depends on what kind of "thoughts" you're having. Are they thoughts of getting back together or thoughts of what you use to do together. Or are they just random "i wonder how hes doing" thoughts?
I think the kind of way u are thinking about them will tell you what it is and no matter what anybody writes here, I am sure if you are honest with yourself and u have a deep conversation with your HEART, you know if u still love him or not anyway!!! Its the fact of whether u are willing to ACCEPT that , that makes u question it!

Not at all. I dont know your situation but my ex and i split up four years ago and because of the vile way he treated me, i will never be able to forget him. The harsh things he used to say to me effect me to this day. So if you did really love your ex or even if he was abusive you wont ever forget him. It is the way a humans mind works. No one who was important in our life can be erased from our memories.

It depends on each case. Maybe you have lots of memories, maybe there are places which remind you about that person. Also is possible to have very strong feelings for that person... Perhaps he/she impressed you in a way or other and this is the reason why you can't forget about him/her. I don't know if is love or not... anything is possible.
