Some would agrue that if illegal immigration is not stopped or seriously curtailed soon, it will be the end of the USA culture as we now know it.
I also might add, that many would argue that the illegal immigrants that come to this country, are here due to life or death scenarios in their lives "as they see it". If illegals are that desperate, what other measure, can we take to ensure the lawful integrity of our country, laws and culture? Life and death means: We die and they LIVE or They Die and We LIVE. Which would you pick as an American (or as an Illegal immigrant?)

If you/your children are obligated to speak a second language (school?) to get a job or understand what is going on around you in your "own culture"; is that changing/ending your culture? I think it is.

I would suggest reading a good article on immigration, titled "Immigration Has Different Impacts". You can view it at:

Culture is going to stay here with or without illegal immigrants. There are plenty of legal citizens here in their place. Those who spend the time and effort to enter our country legally deserve to be here. It isnt a matter of life or death. If they want to get in, apply for a work visa. Our country is doomed if illegal immigration continues at the current rate. Finally the worst president in history (George Bush) is making one of the best moves for the country. Sending National Guard to the border, and installing advanced cameras. If only he would now deport the millions that he knows are here.

And now these people are fighting and saying that they deserve rights. How can you deserve what is granted to a U.S. citizen when you are here breaking the law. Rights to health, rights to education. They are filling up our schools, and in some cases removing the opportunity for American children to enroll based on the population. Im sure that many are legal, but a nearby high school is 75% hispanic. If we dont do something now, imagine how much worse the current situation can become.

I think this is a life or death situation with the culture and our economy. First the culture, go to to Miami and go into any restaurant all the menus are written in Spanish first then English. When I went to school later in Georgia there were a lot of Hispanics and most of them didn't care one bit about school, they skipped days, they argued with the teachers, got in fights with other kids, didn't do their work, and as a result they brought the whole class down. Also I heard on the news that the day the Hispanics boycotted America, not only did the job attendance drop significantly, but so did the crime rate. Economically they do not help at all. They may work but they are stealing our jobs. I know the argument "these are jobs Americans don't want", and that's 100% true. We don't want those jobs because the illegals are willing to work for so little. They are driving those jobs down. An then all the money that they do make doesn't help the US economy because it is all sent back to Mexico. Their lack of appreciation towards education means the poverty rates are going to sky-rocket. It also means that we have to support them. We have to pay for them because they cant pay for themselves. They are dangerous to the American culture and our way of life.

Wherever did you get the idea that the life or death circumstances of people from other countries are our responsiblity? Those circumstances, in this cases are 100% artificially manufactured by a deeply corrupt mexican government. They have nearly as much in the way of resources and wealth that we have and have been around for as long as we have....yet they are very much like a third world country.

That incredible dysfunction has serious consequences of course. Consequences we really can't do anything about. And, by letting those people into our country, it changes nothing but makes us have to suffer those consequences for them (freeing them to be even MORE dysfunctional).

This is no joke, because, by dysfunctional, I mean violent and evil. The people coming over the border are depraved psychopaths who hate us. The statistics are quite clear on this. They commit crime FAR in excess of what normal people do....and most of it is violent crime....rape, robbery, murder, gangs, drugs etc.

Currently, this insanity is limited to a few geographic regions within the US. But, it is spreading at an alarming rate.

If we open up the flood gates of immigration, it won't be a few places. It will be almost all communities. See what is going on in France? That will happen here.

It is not the fault of any American that other countries do not take care of their own people. And yes, if the illegal alien situation is not handled soon, it may not mean the end of American culture, but it will cause a pretty big economic ripple. Look how much of your tax money and insurance premiums go already to support these people.

It's not life and death, in either scenerio. We (America) are not at a risk of losing our culture. We are a melting pot and any culture that people can bring in is much appreciated (by me at least). It is not always life and death for the immigrants either. It is work or be very poor. They risk their lives to come and work several jobs to care for their families. It is their decision to do so. They can live in their countries (alot of people stay) but they know that it will take them all their lives to build a home or buy land , or start a business.

Not necessarily life or death, but it could be a problem. Every country has a limited amount of resources. While the U.S.' resources are large, they are not infinite. While we can grow them, we can't grow them as fast as illegals from all countries are pouring in here. That's the main reason for limiting immigration in any country, including the U.S. And for some reason, it's OK for every country EXCEPT the U.S. to severely punish illegal aliens for invading.

Desperate people do desperate actions, the living is better for an illegal to be in prison in this country than free in their own, that and with no loyalty to this country they are willing to do anything legal or illegal. We also have in our government individuals like Ted Kennedy that long ago lost whatever love or loyalty they had for this country, these two problems combined would make this country dangerous and unstable

Absolutely its a Life or Death dilemma for the USA. Its as if the ship is sinking and the warnings have gone out. But just like life you'll always have people who deny it, to the very end and be consumed by their own ignorance.

Many are dying now because of program cuts Due to the big raise in Illegals using services. So it already is life or death. We have poor here becoming totally destituted because of costs factors.

It's a life and death situation for the American citizen. It means we are all citizens because no one has any rights to be a citizen.
No nation can stand that way divided.

I used to be an American. Now I am nobody.
