Anyone else used to love Sugar Puffs but think they've now been totally ruined by Nestle reducing the sugar content?

I'm tempted to buy a supermarket own brand cereal now to see if they taste any better.

Honestly this healthiness crap is getting out of hand - whats the point of calling something "Sugar" if theres not much sugar in it? It's not as if we aren't aware there's a high sugar content!

Might as well call them Sweetner Puffs now!! XD

This is here coming from a sugar puff fan!

There is less sugar in the sugar puff.

I've noticed the packet now have "New Lower Sugar" (same great taste - less than 2 teaspoons per serving).

Ingredients are: Wheat, glucose-fructose syrup, dugar, honey (3%), glucose syrup, molasses, niacon, iron, riboflavin (B2), thiamin (B1).

At least there is no artificial sweeners!

But how much less? 10%? 5%? 1%? I wonder!

Sugar puff still taste good! Slightly more wheaty thats all, and less sugar too!

..... so its not just me! I used to have sugar puffs but had another cereal for a while and then when I had sugar puffs again I thought they didn't taste as good as I'd remembered them - so I have swapped cereal again!! :) As for reduced sugar, low fat and meat alternatives etc - soon they will be making food free products that "still have the same great taste"* but without the calories (*they will taste just as bad as all of these 'good for you' alternatives). For goodness sake, if we wanted to eat cardboard, we'd go eat cardboard - no need to call it reduced sugar, sugar puffs!!
