I am visiting NYC next week and I want to buy a good I HEART NY tee that won't have the letters peel off after washing it.

Does anyone know a specific vendor or store that has good quality shirts. I went to NYC last year and I saw a guy selling them on the street but they looked very cheap.

If the letters are printed on it they won't peel off. We have some that we purchased on the street stand a few years ago and they are still clear and printed on.

Some of the different shirts with the Iron on letters needed an extra ironing when you take them home. Perhaps they were hasty in their production or maybe the ironing press wasn't heated up enough.

Better stores or the airport where you pay $$ would have quality shirts you might like. You know nicer necklines, Gender specific styles & colors.

Good luck and keep most of your money hidden under your clother. I love NY Just call me an Island girl, Manhatten Island that is. Diane ;-)

The best places to get them are at tourist stores. But there are some stores particularly the ones close to landmarks that charge a lot for t-shirts. If you go to a good store a few blocks from the landmarks you should be able to get a least three t-shirts for ten dollars, if not more. Just shop around a little bit...

If you are there on this date go to this street fair and there will be a vendor with tons of t shirts with Ny theme for reasonable price.

Sunday June 25th
