I don't see "God's grace" in Islam because, well to play safe just look at how they reacted on Danish cartoon. You wouldn't see true Christians avenging their wrath on people because God told us that vengeance is His.

What do you mean by grace? I cannot relate it to any Islamic concept with that word... what do you mean?
Hey I am back!
Thanks for all the nice open minded answers from non Muslims, peace be with you, then you call us fanatics.
I have done some research. I believe you may refer to Allah´s mercy and compassion, these are some of His attributes and are also two of His names.
However, we do not believe we have been forgiven upfront, and that we can sit until we die comfortably numb thinking we have already earnt Paradise despite whatever our actions are in life!
We believe we are currently being tested, with every action, with every though... we have God´s mercy and His compassion, which is really big, and that is how we survive everyday, that is how we take every breath, that is how we have a roof over our heads and that is how we are sustained phisically, emotionally and spiritually...
And for that and many other things we ever thank Him, through prayer and good deeds as it is due to Him.
I hope this answers your question.
Maasalaama...

The idea of grace is totally foreign to the Muslim. Allah has his will and the believer is to accept that. They do not know if they are going to heaven till they die. It seems that Islam is more based on like the Old Testament, eye for an eye ect. And to the Hebrews the only way they had grace was to sacrifice a animal and sprinkle its blood on the ark of the covenant. That was the way to attone for their sins.
Grace to the Christian is the fact that Jesus Christ paid for the sins of humanity. ALL humanity. No ifs, ands, or buts. All humans deserve to die, but God loves us so much, he came in the flesh as a sacrifice for us so that we may live with him forever. This act did away with the Old Testament way of thinking and replaced it with a better covenant.
Only by blood of Jesus Christ do we find grace with God, and we have to accept that blood personally.

The word grace means something that God has done for you. The best thing He has done is send His Son to die for our sins. There is nothing we can do to obtain salvation He did it all for us. Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Islam is under a performance system. They have to try to do something that will please God. Like killing all Christians No grace there. Romans 11: 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

First of all, this question can only be answered by Muslims, so ignore the answers above. Secondly, in order to answer this question, I need to know what you mean by "grace." When someone commits a sin, and sincerely repents, vowing never to commit the act again, with the "grace of God" their sins are forgiven. I do know that only God can decide who will go to Heaven and who will go to Hell. One can only pray and repent, but no Muslim/human being can know where they are headed (Heaven/Hell). As for Part 2 of your question, I cannot answer how it compares to Christianity since I am not familiar with its doctrines.

In Islam, you're on your own. It states that all men must go through hell. It says join us or die. there is no grace and you're forced out on your own. Allah allows you to join him, but that's about it for grace and mercy.
In Christianity, God must punish someone for the sins committed. But he sends himself in human form (Jesus) to die for us. He takes our sins away from us. That's the grace in Christianity. he created us, and after we leave him, he dies to save us. That is the grace in Christianity.

1 John 2:22 proves that Allah can not be God, and it is only the grace of God that has any value.

if you mean by Grace manners, well our Prophet (Peace be upon him) taught us when you talk with somebody,if you are walking, you make full eye contact, and if you were walking and somebody stopped you to talk to you,you turn to face them when you are talking with them,he taught us that if you want mercy, you should show mercy,to treat people like you would like to be treated,to great people and smile in their faces,to not eat garlic or onions when you are going to a mosque,or amongst a crowd to not offend people by the smell,to be clean and tidy,he even taught men to act romantically towards their wives,he helped his wives in housework,he taught fathers to be knd to their kids, there is a lot.
