Don't you think she feels bad enough without you adding salt to the wound?
No doubt she liked the cat, or you wouldn't have had it in the first place and most decent people don't want to hurt any animal maliciously.
This was not intended, which is the definition of "accident".
I am sorry about your cat, as we too, have several cat's and animals. Anyone who is an animal lover will feel bad about an animal being hurt unnecessarily. Give your mom a hug, let her know you understand she is upset as well and remember your feline friend with happy memories.
All of you deserve that

No, you shouldn't be mad at her since it was an accident, but that is sad and you have every right to be mad because it happened, just not mad at your Mom. Pretty soon your anger will turn to just plain sorrow, and then maybe you'll feel better toward her.
You might even want her to get you a new kitty to replace the one you lost and since she will feel guilty about it, I betcha you'll get one a lot easier than if it wasn't her fault.
So sorry for your loss!!

well since its not her fault then don't make her feel
any worse then she already does
my mom ran over my dog in kindergarten
i remember till this day she backed up on his leg
then put it in drive and ran over her again
yes......she hated my dog that's why it lived and
my mom had to take of it when she had a cast on her leg
for 6 weeks
i wasn't mad i was laughing
everything happens for a reason and I'm sure your mom feel horrible
tell her its OK and that your not mad and you knew it was an
accident you ll be surprised in the reaction she gives back

I am sure your mom feels awful for running over your cat. That is kinda dumb for you to be mad at her, don't you think, especially when you know it was an accident. Maybe you should go give her a hug and tell her you know she didn't mean to do it, and that you love her and are embarresed for acting like a baby

Don't cry over spilt milk, and don't be mad about your cat no longer able to lick that spilt milk....you can be upset with the loss, but not mad at your mom. Besides, cats are a dime a dozen. Just ask PETA.

No! My mom did that like 3 weeks ago and we had to put him to sleep but, if she just ran over your cats leg then your cat will heal! But don't be mad when your in a car it is hard to see what is behind it or under it. Remeber that.
: )
Forgive her you don't want her to feel bad!
I'm sorry your cat got run over. I hope its okay.

Sweetie, you're not mad at Mom - you're mad/sad because your kitty is gone. It's part of the griefing process. Believe me, Mom is just as mad/sad as you are. Go give Mom a hug and have a good cry with her.

No, she did not mean to run over the cat. Would you want her to be mad at you if you did it to her pet. It was an accident. I know you are upset, but be understanding.

It is a normal response to be angry, But, you have to keep reminding yourself it was just an accident. How does your mother feel? I'll bet she's hurt almost as much as you are about the whole incident, I know this would break my heart. It may have broken your mom's too!
