The beans definitely have a thinner sauce and aren't quite so sweet. The ketchup isn't half as rich and tomato laden. I buy the organic Heinz ketchup as it's much more like the old one. Also, Ambrosia creamed rice pudding isn't half as nice as it used to be.

The reason the ketchup isnt as rich anymore is because they started to filter it out more, they do that because there used to be so many bugs in it that when they floated to the top you could see them, thats why they put that little ring around the neck, the sticker that says 59, but the reason it tastes thinner is because their arent any bugs in it.

I agree about the beans!! They have either too much sauce with them or too little, someone should write a letter to Heinz to sort it out. Also, I noticed a strand of blonde hair in a Dolmio sauce and noone in my house has blonde hair!!

Heinz stuff was always loaded with sugar, it was famous for it.
I'm guessing in this health conscious world we live in(even though people are now fatter than ever)it's had to cut down on the white stuff.

Yeah, I usually buy the cheap stuff and thought i'd try the good stuff for once, but it didn't taste any better than the cheap stuff.

Try "cowboy billy's" "maple cured bacon" baked beans. No need for ketchup!!

I bet they've reduced the salt content and taken away some artificial flavorings/preservatives.
In short - they've ruined them! XD

as you get older your taste does change. Try another brand maybe you will it better.
