Any religion that promotes helping, tolerating, and loving other people regardless of race, status, or religion is the true religion.

Too many people put too much emphasis on the mythology of their religion, when that stuff doesn't really matter. Whether or not Moses literally parted the Red Sea with walls of water on either side doesn't actullay have an effect on how you should live your everyday life. When you strip away the mythology, many religions are very very similar.

I personally think that every protestant and catholic religion out there is very manupulative just for the fact that they will tell you if you don't come to their church and put money in the contribution dish when it is passed around that you will burn in Hell. That is manupulating you into going to church being scared of God, not loving him. Instead, you need a religion out there that beleives in life, not tormented death. Psalms chapter 37 and Revelation chapter 21:1-5 and many other scriptures gives us good hope to everlasting life. A burning hell is a fictional beleif that is not even true. Infact, hell is as plain and simple as the 6ft. deep grave. If you can do some research yourself, you will find out that even the good man named Job prayed to go there when he was suffering. And the lord Jesus was raised from the grave (hell) in Acts 2:27, 31,32. And most of all, when Adam had sinned and brought the worst of all upon all of mankind, God had told him since he sinned, that he would return to dust, not a fiery pit or eternal torment or anything of that nature.
I am a Jehovah's Witness and I know we are not manipulative. We and our Elders in the congregation don't pass contribution plates around, nobody get's paid to preach like the other church leaders do, and we teach about everlasting, perfect life on this earth coming soon after armageddon. That was God's original purpose for mankind on this earth and it never changed. I really hope you do more research and please talk to someone at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses. I hope I've answered your question and I guarantee myself that you will not feel manipulated or, may lighting strike me now

That religion which closest substantiates spiritual reality. Since New Testament Christianity affirms that Christ isn’t just real, but reality itself , “ for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are on earth…. And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” Colossians 1:16, I would have to agree with the Christian Scriptures and say Christianity; though not in it’s present apostate form. In its’ essence and purest form there is absolute no manipulation, just the stating of facts, which all men are free to assent to or deny. There are consequences for either choice, one good and one not so good; if you can say that an eternal separation from YHVH in hell as ‘not so good‘, but in the spirit of not being manipulative I offer those options. There isn’t a third.

There is no true organized religion without manipulation. The only true answers are the conclusions that you come to within yourself through your own study of the many opinions that exist. Take what serves you and you alone and leave the rest.

None. No organized religion is pure. However all of them have redeeming aspects. Even things as Eastern religions or non-religion can lead to a peaceful way of life when not blindly followed.

You've probably heard James 1:27 "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." Perhaps what is most important is to have a pure and kind heart, to be willing to serve, and then as God wills it more knowledge will come to you as to the course you should follow to make the biggest difference in your spiritual growth. Have a happy day!

ZEN. It requires you to "do nothing." By nothing, I mean it requires you to completely empty your mind, your being through meditation..ZAZEN
By doing this, by becoming empty as the sky...you will experience God without trying to confine God within the confines of your mind or thoughts, which have a beginning and an end.
God cannot be held within the mind, God is too big and limitless. But by going beyond mind, one can enter the limitless.
Although it may seem paradoxical, Every thing is in No thing.

definite, this is. very few human beings can exist devoid of a few sort of religious concept, till they are particularly callous or cynical. i'm an atheist, in a feeling that i won't be able to convey myself to even have faith interior the doctrines of the church i become raised into. Spirituality and faith are no longer the comparable element, those are 2 very a number of issues certainly. faith isn't concept, this is a set of regulations and institutions human beings would desire to regulate to with a view to instruct their concept to others or purely because of the fact they opt to be somewhat of the team. Spirituality is a few thing intangible, a concept in an enhanced meaning of this existence, devoid of all the trappings like having to assert a particular prayer in a particular time or having to end a pilgrimage with a view to instruct the religion. So, i think of that atheists are no longer people who do no longer understand something approximately spirituality. a number of them are purely people who don't discover it achievable to adapt with the regulations.

Mormonism.

I don't care what all you anti-Mormons have to say, if the people actually went to the Mormon church, they would relize that alll teh anti-mormons are feeding them is lies, and we are nothing like what they say. Here is the truth:

Hi,
It is Summer,
I am a Latter day Saint, JSYK.
I will tell you the basics of the Mormon religion...
1. We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.

2. We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.

3. We believe that through the atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.

4. We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

5. We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.

6. We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.

7. We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.

8. We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

9. We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

10. We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.

11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.

12. We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.

13. We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul--We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.

Breath in, now breath out, that is the spirit that dwells in you. All you need to do is "Believe". No man/woman can bring you to the throne of Grace "unmerited favor" only God can. That is the true religion. Peace within yourself!
