If your mother is an Eastern Star that means that you can become one, too, based on her Masonic affiliation even before your husband becomes a Master Mason. Look in the phone book under either Masonic organizations or Fraternal organizations and the local chapter is usually listed. Or else look in the white pages under Order of the Eastern Star. Ask your mom to ask Eastern Star if someone can nominate your membership. Masons, Eastern Star and Demolay have rituals you need to learn and will be tested on so ask your parents for advice.

Tell your mother and your husband you want to join OES.
That should get the ball rolling.
Is there a chapter at your husband's lodge?
Will your husband join OES with you? It is co-ed. Or will this be your thing and lodge is his?
Think about those things ...

your husband first must not only become a mason but he must become a 3rd degree (a master mason) after he reaches his 3rd degree which he is allowed to tell you if he is one. Then you can ask him to ask the other members of his lodge to get you an application or have one of the other members wives who are part of the EOS to call you and help you join.
