I have to be on constant watch to avoid losing my keys, for me it's because I'm absent-minded and always thinking about something and sometimes I get so wrapped up in my thoughts that I lose track of what I'm doing or what's happening around me.

it's different. He could have ADD (constantly losing things is a symptom of the disease) OR he could have come from a family where being organized and keeping up with things and didn't learn these qualities. That may be the reason he married you. That's why they say opposites attract. You have qualities that he is lacking, and you good parts out way his bad parts and vice versa. As a result the "value" of your being together is greater than the sum of each of you seperate.
I am always losing things. That's one of the things that attracted me to my fiance was that he was always so organized and disiplined. Luckily I am willing to admit to my short comings, and he is willing to help me learn to change them or at least lessen there effects. So since being with him I loose things less often b/c he has taught me more to be organized.
I would suggest you do the same for your husband. if you want, and if he is responsive and wants to change/lessen this imperfection. If not just love him and laugh and make it a joke when it does happen. That's what my fiance does.
I would suggest though that you try to get him to learn to be more organized. Especially if you have kids or plan on having them. Being more organized definitly makes life easier. And children learn from examples. So if mom and dad are both organized, the children will learn to be so as well. (I hope that doesnt sound like a lecture, b/c that isnt what I am trying to do, I just hope to advise you on an issue that is very real for me. )

SOME men are careless...
In my family its the opposite. I'm the one forgetting my purse and the keys... You just have to stop and think that maybe they have a lot on their mind. give them a break!

lol sounds like mine. He lost his wallet and his cell phone and his glasses. He got pulled over for passing someone who almost hit him and almost smashing into someone else and he had no licence so now he goes to court in 2 days . Men are always doing crap like that lol

I suggest putting a little shelf beside the door that he comes in and out of. Have him empty his pockets when he comes in the door on the shelf.
That's the way I know where my pocket stuff is.

Let me Guess, you have to help him find everything. Men they are mindless creatures. He figures he can just get you to help him find things. My bf was the same way. I use to move his stuff just to be the hero and find it. I know that was wrong.
