Without going into too much detail, I have an uncle who has spent most of his adult life in jail, a cousin who posts her explicit lesbian pictures online, and the wife of another uncle who is too trailer-trashy to mention. We have not seen these people in years and don't acknowledge them when people ask whether we have extended family. I have discovered that a lot of people are in the same boat, so I'm taking an informal poll here. Come on, don't be shy, it's the internet. Tell me all about your trashiest relatives that you have disowned.

A cousin who killed 6 people. the first she tabbed shot ran over with a car then set on fire. Then she killed 4 more with a friend and road around with them in her car.
A cousin who with a friend pushed a guy off a cliff twice and beat him in the head with a rock
A grand father who believes he was abducted by aliens and traveled the galaxy
my brother who will not take a bath or brush his teeth, he dropped out of school and thinks the world owes him everything.
two cousin who shot one in the butt during a fight and still balme each other 10 years later.

I have several relatives who might be considered trashy but the only one I've ever been tempted to disown is one of my older brothers. He persuaded the mother of my children to divorce me after 15 years of marriage so he could marry her and steal my family.
Since that time he and the ex-wife (or should I say sister-in-law?) have made a sport of turning me into some imaginary monster in the children's eyes in order to estrange them from me. I hardly ever get to see my younger children (or should I say nieces and nephew?) any more, but fortunately the older ones (young adults) have worked their way through a lot of the nonsense and have reestablished a positive relationship with me.
So I really don't invite my brother to dinner anymore.

a brother-in-law who spends more time in jail than at home, but somehow is out long enough to have 4 children with 3 different women
a cousin who broke into my home and stole $700.00 in that was in my piggy bank
we have custody of the above brother-in-laws 2 sons because his wife let her bf beat one of them with a board from a bunk bed when he was only 2 years old : we have custody because she believed the bf and chose him over her kids...........dad doesn't have him because of his anger problems, and the jail time
everyone has at least one bad person in their family, whether they want to admit it or not

My brother in law was accused of molesting his children from another marriage. My sister does not belive it , but luckily they have no children together.
