The actual answer is a brood, NOT a flock... and gaggle applies to geese.

RE:
What do you call a group of baby ducks?
The eggs are a clutch, the individuals are ducklings, but what about the group? (i.e., dogs have litters of puppies)

It's been about 3yrs since I raised up my last group of baby ducks but it seems to me that by the time they are ready to be put outside at about 6wks when they are all feathered out. . . . .they are quacking. They start out as "peeps" as some people call them because they have squeeky little peeping and as they get alittle older they will make noises that will make you think of a teenager when their voice "cracks". . . not a squeeky peep anymore and not quite a true quack, somewhere in the middle. . . a peep/quack.

The females voices usually change at about 1 months old. Then its really more of a honk sound than a quack. The males can start a little earlier or a little later and they have a very quiet, very hoarse sounding raspy voice.
