And what do they think it means? Should I be offended being Wiccan? Isn't it false advertising?

Dont be offended they dont mean anything by it except that they are worthy of being a Goddess. Take a deep breath and chill. Blessed be.

It is merely a problem with connotation (what people think a word means) and denotation (what a word really means). They are taking Goddess to mean a great wonderful woman. When in reality you know it means much more.

Don't be offended. They don't really know what they are saying. If they did and they were Christian, they wouldn't wear the shirt.

Just becase they are Christian girls, doesnt mean that they do everything right. Lets face it, thier Parents send them to Christian Schools, whether they want to go or not, so they have no say so in that, but, as individuals, they may rebel or not even accpet JESUS as thier personal Saviour. You can lead a horse to water but you cant make them drink, and they may have that domeaner in them that they dont accept HIS teachings.

Of course, they may be trying to express thier indiviuality too, and since the shirt industry has a lot of 'sayings', they may have picked out something to bring controversy or want to stand out for the boys...

I wish you well..

God forbid! I doubt very much that they think about what it means. Probably if they do at all, they are thinking 's** goddess'. This does not sound like Christianity to me.

And God spoke all these words: [...]You shall have no other gods before Me.[...] Exodus 20:1, 3

[Jesus said] You have heard that it was said, "Do not commit adultery." But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (Matthew 5:27-28)

Nuff said.

God bless you
