You cannot turn your relaxed hair into natural hair, so its true you will have to cut your hair. What I did was stop relaxing it and I was braiding it when the new growth got to be too long. After about 6 months from my last relaxer I cut all the relaxed ends. You may want to hold out because you dont want your hair to be short but dont worry go for it. My hair has grown so much since I cut it and I am so proud of it. Good luck!

Well, thats the EASIEST way...but everybody doesnt wanna be bald...lol

The second easiest option would be to see a professional hair stylist, but it can become quit expensive after a while as it take months to grow outt a relaxer

Actually just STOP relaxing you hair, you'll eventually have a head full of "new growth" or "natural hair".... take really good care fo your previously relaxed hair to reduce/eliminate split ends and breakage...then just blow dry and press the new growth to keep ot straight and sleek....once your "new growth" has reached a length that you can deal with cut your previously relaxed hair off...it will take a while depending on how long you would like it to be (just rock a short Halle Berry, or medium/bob Kelly Rowland style!)...but natural hair grows faster than previously relaxed hair..good luck

Just let your hair grow out then start pressing it with a hot comb it will take about 1 or 2 months for your hair to grow then stop using perms(relaxers).

When I wanted to go back to my natural hair I kept it braided. Cornrows worked the best, but I also had singles. The longer i kept in braids the more my hair grew and the thicker and more NATURAL it turned out. If you do cornrows have them braid your own hair to the tips and add the synthetic hair at the ends for the length. Im tellin you it worked!!

if you cant afford to go to the salon this is what you do: Wash your hair with neutralizer shampoo and condioner every time you wash your hair. With that it strips your hair of the perm faster and safer. That should only take like 2-3washes befor its back to its puffy at the roots, so there after when you wash your hair just towel dry and add curly mousse and go and your hair will do the rest.

Don't try anything on your own. There's a very large chance that you'll mess it up even more.

My best guess is to go to a proffesional.

Or you can just gradually cut it out as it grows... that may take a while though.
I got my hair colored and now I'm cutting it out. Taking me a while.

that's correct. u must stop relaxing your hair your new growth is considered in it's natural state. if you want to cut it, wear individual braids until it's the natural length you desire. your hair that's already permed will never return to it natural state a perm is "permanent". GOOD LUCK! (cosmetologist)

They say you have to cut it because if you just leave it and donot retouch your hair will break off. Just go to a proffesional hair stylist and ask them for the advice.

cut it or let the relaxer grow out there are plenty of good looking styles you can wear in the mean time. try some individual braids while your growing out your perm

no dont cutt it all. Just dont get a relaxer for about 2 months. Then you'll have new growth. And then you cut every thing past your newgrowth
