Not to mention the obvious "cavities", certain problems with your jaw—TMJ (tempromandibular joint disorder) ——can be caused by excessive gum chewing. This can include joint pain, headaches, joint sounds, difficulty with fully opening the mouth. If you know that you grind your teeth at night, you might want to cool it on excessive daytime chewing.

I would recommend sugar free. Regular (sugar containing) gum can definitely lead to cavities. Also, as the person stated above, your TMJ may be affected. If you've never had symptoms I wouldn't worry about it. If you had or do have any problems with your jaw I would definitely stay away from gum.

the health prblems you might have is cavities, or sore teeth and jaw, depends on how much you chew gum.

I've read about slightly increased chances of throat cancer; but, don't know how substantiated that is. Otherwise, I don't think there should be much harm, except for that it contains artificial colors and flavors.
