Despite your good intentions, he is in serious need of an evaluation; if you have no money the salvation army will look at him and even suggest a program for him to get off drugs. If he is heavy into it(I suspect he is) then all the good intentioned advice in the world won't help. He must be taken to a detox unit so that he can be properly withdrawn from the opiates without serious medical complications such as DEATH. haldol is not for opiate withdrawal.

never ever replace one habit for another its a physical addiction but getting through that part is noy easy the mental part is the mind **** if you replace one drug for another that monkey will never go away
