You'll know when they confess things to you. Everyone has dirty little secrets. If your guy tells you a secret without you asking, he trusts you. If he trusts you, you can trust him....BUT...

Never trust completely. There is no logic in the chambers of the human heart.

Trust is defined as, "Firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person".
Integrity, ability and character is not displayed for real when things go good. The real person emerges when things are tough. Everyone puts their best foot forward in the beginning of a relationship. It would be wonderful if they stayed the way they are portraying, but it never happens. The best relationships start out as an acquaintance that at the time has no indication of anything more. The acquaintance might not even be your physical type. As you get to know the acquaintance, you might find you genuinely like him. These type of acquaintances are found mostly at work on a job. Some of those acquaintances develop into a really caring relationship and then on to love. At this point, sex is not the first thing on ones mind. The person is. Trust is something earned. That takes time. No one can demand your trust. Trust is vital for a relationship. Trust is necessary for the life of a relationship as blood is necessary for the life of the body. Without blood the body dies; without trust the relationship dies.
Either you trust someone who has earned your trust or you do not. Be clear in your appraisal. Do you honestly trust him? The answer is no. You wouldn't have asked the question if trust was there. Tough thing to break up with someone you don't truly trust but necessary in order to find someone that fits you better and one you can trust. Good luck.

You cant really trust anyone. Not meaning to sound 'trust no one but yourself'!There is no one on this earth who is completely trustworthy.Im a very trustworthy person and i still slip up sometimes, completely accidentally. There are people who are more trustworthy than others, but no one 100%,whether deliberately or accidentally.Choose what you tell people carefully. You can usually tell when the person you are talking about gossips a'lot about others.Tells you personal things that other people have told them.If they're telling you what other people have told them, they'll probably tell other people what you've said!

u can never tell. Just when u get comfy and blurt out ur secrets n stuff , u get a slap straight across yer face. however, the more u think about it, the more ppl find u wierd n choose to stay away frm u. Be nice, give trust first to get it back. u'll b fine.

Well, you trust them a little initially. If they don't do anything to cause you to regret trusting them, you trust them a little more. Sometimes if it's obvious they trust you, that somehow reinforces your trust.

(This is coming from a pre-teen, so it might not be what your looking for) This is how i can tell, if my friends talk about our others friends behind their back to me then i just think if "so and so" is talking about "other person" behind their back-i wonder if they talk about me like that. Thats how i can determine. Another way, is if they keep their word or if u just trust your instincts and think there trustworthy.

Look at his face, does he look kind ? look deep in his eyes, he looks straight in you without his eyes wavering left & right. Ask yourself, can he be trusted? Ask again yourself, does he appear trustworthy ? If answer is yes on three counts, you may trust him.

... there's nothing you can do or nowhere you can go to escape the risk of something bad happening ... people make mistakes ... when they do, just forgive them and move on ... there's no need to stop trusting ... just be as careful as you can ... that's all you can do ...
