I am a registered Emergency Medical Technician level 3, but i took the course in another country. If I want to work in the States, do I need to take it again or is it a way to have a validation?

Absolutely... go to your state's website for more info on EMT courses, but you will definitely need to take the classes all over again and then take the certification exam...

It depends on which state you're in. Some states in the U.S. don't even grant reciprocity to EMT's from other states.

You may be required to simply take a written test and hands on demonstration to indicate your qualifications or you may be required to take the EMT course from the beginning.

Good luck.

you may have to take a refresher course, which is not a big deal.
