when you fill your heart with hate it leaves no room for joy. and when your bitter how can you be happy.. that is whats wrong with this world forgiveness not only lightens the other persons heart but also your own. if you dont place judgment on your fellow man then you want be judged by your fellow man. love,forgiveness go hand in hand with peace. so for those out there that are filled with hate and bitterness why cant you let it go? any why do you feel the way you do? why let it take over your life?

in reply to alpha female i have lived a very hard life. and i know its gonna get harder but i dont let it rule my life. life is short and its the only one we have. no one lives a perfect life. but there is no need to make things any harder then they already are. geting mad is one thing but holding on to it is another.

because some people find joy in hating other people. they are so caught up with making other peoples life miserable they cant see how pitiful they really are. and hate just breeds more hate. look at some of the answers that you have gotten on this question. they love spreading hate. they are so bitter and they dont even know why

How do you know a person with hate and bitterness from any one else?
2Tim.3:1-7[attitudes of last days people]; Matt.10:34-38[attitudes of family toward people who love God and Christ and his word];
Gal.5:19-23[the difference in God fearing people and others];
Heb.2:9,24,16[Who wants to be in the shoes of Jesus? when Michael contended with the devil, he said, "The Lord rebuke you]." Is Satan full of hate and bitterness?
The Lord makes the sun to rise upon the just and the unjust alike. Gen.8:21; God said to Noah, the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; .. All through the bible it tells of this. So how do you teach people to acquire the fruits of the spirit that is pleasing to God?
People are determined to do their own thing, they do not care if God or any one else likes what they do.
So David said, "Who is man, that thou art mindful of him."
I think God knows much more about humankind than they know about themselves, everyone will be given every opportunity to conform to the requirements of God.
As for us, we have no business expecting others to conform to our requirements, where it say of those you know do not have the fruits of the spirit, from such turn away. 2Tim.3:5; WHY?

Unfortunately a good number of people need to hate someone else so the can feel superior. If a person feels hopeless or helpless it is good, in their minds, to have someone who for what ever reason ( skin color, religion, political leanings, nationality, economic class etc) you think is inferior to you! It seems that people who say they are Christian are more guilty of this than most. They cover it in caring, hypocrites, so many people are just not happy. God weeps

Because every religion is different and has no evidence so it relies on faith which is a very dangerous thing which when applied to something as big as religion leads people to hate people who's views are different to there's. Atheism is the answer and will end all of this hatred.

Fear is the biggest promoter of hatred. And, hatred can destroy the soul of a man. Love is putting another persons needs before ones own, and if we could learn to practice that we could put fear in its place.... behind us.

It has everything to do with our psychology. One scenario is that our inner child is hurt and therefore generates the hate and bitterness. Another scenario is that ignorance breeds hate and hate breeds violence.

For some, it takes years for them to let that go. Time can be the best healer, along with introspection.
