Give your lowest possible price and advertise it as much as possible on the net, or newspaper, or pull out tags in a local food store.

Place an add in your local newspaper with words like, Must Sell, Best Offer, Reliable, etc. Think about the least amount you're willing to accept, then price it 150 to 250 above that. I've had cars parked on the side of the road for weeks with not much success, but everytime I place an add in the paper it seems to sell by the end of the weekend. Clean your car to the best of your ability, inside and out. Neatness counts.

I sell cars for a living at a high line dealership. my best reccomendation would be to put your vehicle on autotrader.com . autotrader has options of several counties or nation wide for people to search for your type vehicle. I would suggest that you first research on autotrader other vehicles like yours, such as year make model, options and mileage. That way you can get an idea of what the vehicles value is on the open market. If you need to sell the vehicle quickly , price it lower then the average prices offered. that way you should get alot of interest. keep in mind everyone starts high on pricing and can always go down. so if the average is say 20k, a person would probably accept 1k or 2k less in order to sell. kelly blue book also gives a good idea of the vehicles retail value, although it is only a guideline. autotrader will come out and take pictures for you of the vehicle and post it online. be aware however even tho autotrader says the ad "runs till it sells" you must update the ad in a certain time period or the ad is dropped. of course you can always take it to a dealer and let them buy it, however you will receive wholesale blue book or less vs retail if you sell it yourself. I hope that helps. e mail me if i can help. jake1740@yahoo.com. later........ ohh yea-i forgot- carmax is a geat way as well to sell the vehicle right away-they buy even tho your not buying a car from them. although you will receve around wholesale price as well. thanks.. other person for the carmax reminder

Look up the blue book value and sell it privately meaning sell it yourself not to a dealship, use such tools as the autoshopper, your local newspaper and so on. Park it in a heavy traffic area and put a sign on it that says for sale

Many towns have a corner that you can park your car in with a sign in the window. That is really quick or you could always take it to a dealer.
