My friend and I flirt a lot. We both know that we really like each other and if either one of us was either older or younger we would date. However, he feels that he is too young and I said at one time that if I was younger I would date him. However, I am regretting saying that because I too felt he was too young for me. Now that I've given myself time to think about how we act and get along, I want to know it's okay instead of wondering what other people will think of either one of us.

I wouldn't worry about it. My friend married a 38 year old when she was 22. We got over the initial shock and we are all great with it. He treats her well, we like him, it isn't weird. So go for it.

Well that is entirely up to the two of you. Just keep in mind that men are immature anyway. So although he may be 18, compared to a women he will probably act about 15. But if you found the 1 teenager (because he is a teenager) that has some relationship sense, more power to you.

If he is going to college or something like that I would hold off on trying to turn it into anything too serious in order to preserve everyone's feelings.

i do not see some thing incorrect with that in any respect. they're human being females, and that is your decision. I abhor racial decision in all honesty, yet me preaching to you received't end you from having it, so see you later as you're not any further a rapist, paedophile or weirdo in the different case, get on with it! also, i don't believe of i have ever met a guy who's easily interested in tall females, so do not sweat it. @ Susan: How f***ing ridiculous. end spewing feminist garbage. So a guy who prefers a youthful, shorter lady is without delay a administration freak? Being 5'5" myself, i'm no longer precisely an Amazon and that i'm in simple terms over 5 years youthful than my better 1/2 who's 6'2". definite, i'm a touch above average height, yet in evaluation to him i'm a midget. we've been jointly in simple terms over 3 years and he's the most humble, common and if some thing, submissive guy I easily have ever been with. no pick to be a jealous old hag about a persons'' relationship thoughts. in simple terms because a guy doesn't pick for that reason far an old bint or a woman who's the final height of guy does no longer propose he's 'controlling' or 'dominating'. you're an fool.

I think you have a really big decision to make. First, the natural order is for the man to take care of his women regardless if you are the new independent women this man-child have a job worthy of taking care of your needs. Second how do you really know that he is mature enough for you he could just be tripping off of a older women lusting off of his young body.Third, where is your self-esteem in finding someone in your own age bracket. If I was 26 the youngest I would go would be 22 at least he would have experience ordering me a drink.

Well I think you should follow your heart and do what you think is right. If he don't agree to it stay friends because theres nothin wrong with just being friends. I have learned to wait for who you want the most. Give him time and respect him. Tell him your always there for him and always will.
