Due to my traning program, I eat a lot of egg whites to obtain protein. About 140 each month. Rather than constantly throw out the yolks, I've thought about trying Lana's Egg Whites.

Have any of you used them? An 8 lb tub = 165 egg whites = 12-13 dozen, and cost $30. Are there other brands which cost less? Or is this the most resonable other than seperating them myself?

Thanks, Kiki

p.s. I understand that seperating them myself is the most economical. However, I'm interested in the most reasonably priced egg whites that are already seperated. Thanks

Seperating them yourself is the least expensive method. You'll always pay more for something that someone else had to process. It's no different than eating out. We can make the same meals at home for much less cost but we do it for convenience. You just need to decide how much it's worth to have someone else perform the chore :)

I found one company on the web who does home delivery (Eggology) and their prices are listed at: https://www.eggology.com/delivery.htm

You can buy dried egg whites in the baking department of most larger grocery stores. Or you can get soy powder to supplement.

All you have to do is just buy dozens of eggs and crach the shell in half and get a yolk catcher I have one they are awsome tools!!!
