when you break it all down, nobody can prove or disprove god's existence.

i find it strange that ppl can be so single minded when it comes to this topic. some ppl are perfectly willing to believe in something that has no proof, and when others disagree with them, they cant fathom how anyone could be so stupid.

and others that dont believe in god because theres no solid proof, they cant fathom how anyone can believe in something that has no evidence (even though theres no evidence god DOESNT exist. the absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence)

i mean, i've never seen a billion dollars. prove to me it exists. well, i'm never going to have a billion dollars in my possession, so i dont have to believe in it right? well, that doesnt mean its not out there. and i've read a book about a cat in a hat and some green eggs and ham, but that doesnt make it true. and just because the bible says the bible is true, doesnt make it so. i mean, i can kill someone and then write a book about how i didnt do it, but thats not proof i didnt do it.

but i think the idea of faith is that you can connect with something you feel on the inside, feeling that you belong to something greater than what we understand in this world. and thats a powerful thing, whether its true or not. its easy to have faith when all the answers are right in front of you, but anyone thats read the bible and really thought about it objectively knows that the bible doesnt give you all the answers. and it wasnt meant to, it was meant to teach ppl how to be good ppl. but thats the whole idea, trying to be more than what we are, trying to be better. having faith takes something inside.

and i can understand that an atheist would reject this idea, because they truly believe theres not a god as much as the god worshippers believe that there is one. so really ,they're doing the same thing, they're sticking to their beliefs and what they feel inside.

but we'd all be much better off if we stopped trying to convince each other. if we all realized that both sides are doing the exact same things from opposite sides of the coin...... lol, well.... its a pointless debate.

After this weekend I am only sure of one thing . Just when you think things are getting better they get worse and if there was a God there would be some kind of justice now to those that continue to torture our lives with the disrespect they have learned among this torrid nation of selfish individuals.

God is ‘the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity’ (Is. 57:15).

God, as creator of time, is outside of time. Since therefore He has no beginning in time, He has always existed, so doesn’t need a cause.

I believe that God is a greater being, who, created the universe with his own power. He created life and death. I think that there is only one God, contrary to some belief. He creates/created every single individual (man) on this Earth and everything around us.

I think God is something that I spend the majority of my non-work non-sleep time thinking on, so he is to me personal and very popular.

to me Jehovah is love and humble. someone who would never lie to me and I can talk to Jehovah any time, day or night what I have a problem. I pray to Jehovah everyday. Jehovah loves us before we loved him. remember Jehovah sent his son Jesus Christ to die an awful death for us. you have to have faith. because Jehovah is a spirit and you have to believe. Jehovah is in my heart and soul. Jehovah God is my best friend in the whole world.
