I'm going on a 4-hour trip with beer and liquer in the trunk. Today is 94 degrees out. The beer will be in a rubbermaid container with ice packs. Is this okay or will the drinks go bad? The drinks have not been previoulsy refridgerated and was stored in a cool place.

legally, it is okay to have containers of alcoholic beverages in your trunk. it is NOT illegal to have open liquor containers in your trunk.
the problem with beer is when it's cooled and then allowed to go warm, then cooled again. you get a "skunky" taste that way. if it's never been cooled, i would leave it unchilled in the trunk, and then cool it with ice once you get to your destination. if you must cool it along the way, put plenty of ice on it.
liquor will be fine, whether it's cooled or not, just secure the bottles with towels or something so they don't crack along the way, and never drink liquor from a cracked bottle (it could contain glass shards, which are bad news).
in a cooler with ice, canned drinks only take 7 minutes to reach their optimum cold temperature, so if i were you, i would wait until i got there. it's going to be less of a hassle that way. :)

Everything will be fine. If you make any stops just check and make sure the ice hasn't completely melted and that the beer is staying about the same temp. If already stored in a cool place just make sure that's how it continues to be stored. The liquor can be in anything doesn't make a difference. Have a great but safe trip!

Packed in ice will do it. Put the liquor in there, too. It won't freeze. In the trunk is very good. Just in case you get pulled over.

They should be fine. Remember it is illegal to transport open container though, even if they are in your trunk, so make you you don't have any open bottles of liquor.
