Disaster. Self-indulgence and living in the moment always leads to dictatorship which always leads to oppression of minorities.
Study history and you will find this to be true.

Disaster, for the simple reason that you don't really KNOW what's going to end up hurting someone else in the end. You lack enough knowledge to make a decision like that. Besides that, believing things because they feel good instead of because they're true is the stupidest way of selecting beliefs that I can think of. The truth doesn't always feel good- especially not at first. But who could possibly want to believe a lie, no matter how pretty and comforting and enjoyable it was? I certainly couldn't.

Where did you find this one liner from the 'modern gospel' because most of it's context is missing!
I believe that its full version means 'connect with your spiritual higher self, live a moral and ethical way of life, being happy and positive and live for the greater good of the whole, rather than for yourself'
Now if everyone lived by that code of conduct, it IS a recipe for world peace!!

You have to consider very very carefully what exactly "harming anyone" means.
If you enjoy some recreational drugs do you know under what conditions these drugs have been produced, e.g. slave labour employed on drug farms/factories. Taxes avoided by illegal importing etc?
If you enjoy coffee, you might think it doesn't harm anyone but what about the poor farmers who are paid peanuts for producing the coffee whilst the marketing companies rake in millions?
If you enjoy a hamburger what about the maltreatment of cows in factory farms or clearing of millions of acres of rainforest for beef farming?
If you enjoy a little porn - do you know of some of the nastier tactics employed in the porn industry, i.e. drugging innocent girls or even even simply kidnapping girls in developing countries for the sex trade?
You need to make sure you can understand the full supply chain before you go around making what appear to be very simple statements like "it feels good and doesn't harm anyone" - the true story is often quite a lot more complicated.

You have a right to choose what to believe. And you are responsible for what you choose. The Ten Commandments cover all the necessities for making sure society is safe. That is that we don't hurt one another. Jesus taught further and said that not only murder but anger is hurtful and not only adultery but lust is hurtful. etc. I would like to know how you would want to take God's place in defining what would make the world safe.

So if someone believes in christianity because it feels good, it will lead to disaster and chaos? Interesting!

I believe you are trying to refer to the Wiccan rede that states; "that it harm none, do as thou will shall be the whole of the law".
Which, when you begin to understand it (christians, this means you have to READ and THINK about it) is a FAR more restrictive set of rules than most religions hand down.
Think of this part "that it harm NONE"... that means YOU too. Drinking, Drugs and dangerous activities harm you. Therefore, in the Wiccan rede it would be not allowed.
