What is the mechanism of action of anti-inflamatory drugs and give me names of those drugs.

nsaids as they are commonly known as inhibit the cyclooxygenase( COX) pathway either COX-1 OR COX-2 or non-selective ....where they block the prostaglandins that are responsible for inflammation, pain n fever ....typical examples are ibuprofen ...naproxen..celebrex....and many more...for more info go to the following websites:

Mechanism of action? I don't know what that means but NAIDs are things like aspirin, ibuprofen (Advil), acetaminaphen (Tylenol)
