Every body stores fat a little differently. There is probably nothing wrong with you other than just not using enough of the food energy that you consume. The answer is simply eat less and exercise more over a long period of time and the extra fat will surely come off.
Now, saying it is one thing, the real challenge is doing it. It would be nice if there was a quick fix but there isn't. The good news is that changing your lifestyle is nowhere near as boring or as painful as people think.
Please don't go on a diet, they simply don't work. The very idea of depriving yourself of food for a limited period and then returning to your 'normal' lifestyle doesn't work no matter how much people talk about it.
Eat everything you like but slowly decrease the amount and slowly substitute healthier foods. Tastes change and I now actually like things that I never thought I would.
I've been an exercise consultant and people often ask me: 'Whats the best kind of exercise?' and I often tell them: 'The best kind of exercise is one that you will do.'
There is no best exercise or best diet. The best exercise is any exercise that you like and that fits your daily schedule. The best diet is to eat things you like but slowly evolve towards healthier choices.
Be patient. Be determined. Enjoy. Good Luck.

Unfortunately, there is no way to spot reduce your fat. You will have to continue modifying your diet and exercising (cardio will burn the fat). Sit ups will help you to tighten the muscle in the area, but it will not burn the fat away. Try tracking your calories and doing more cardio. Also, you can try some online weight loss programs like Weight Watchers, eDiets, SparkPeople, NutriSystem. Finally, talk to your doctor to see if there are other reasons that your abdomen is larger. There could possibly be an underlying issue other than "belly fat."

Cardio workouts. Stuff that gets your heart beating fater than normal. Walk fast, jog, run, do something that gets you moving. Do this most everyday along with some sit ups, crunches, and other things that work on your stomach. Crunches should be done everyother day to 5 times a week. and Eat right which is the most important thing.

There actually are a couple of different conditions that cause some peoples bodies to not be able to digest their foods and fats properly, I'm one of them. Water and jogging are your only saviors in this instance, believe me... I eat a pea and get fat.
There is also a rare disease as to where fat is absorbed in through parts of your body.

Get a tummy tuck surgery in India.Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare.I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.I have also read that they arrange financing for american and canadian patients as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance.
They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor i personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.If you still havent got your surgery done, you are better off getting it done in India.
my cousin got a couple of plastic surgery including her tummy tuck procedure through the forerunners healthcare in India and is all praise for this company. She is more than very happy with the results.she just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA.hope this helps.

Get Fitness Magazine and do the workouts in there. Also, eat healthy. I eat salads a lot, but avoid dressing unless it is low/non-fat. Good luck!

don't eat sugar! sugar metabolizes as fat and generally goes right to the tummy area. also, get someone to show you the correct way to do a crunch, rather than a sit-up. http://www.fitstep.com/Library/Exercises/Crunches.htm
