since its fathers day, tell me why your dad is the best.

My dad is the best, because he is not my biological dad. He came into my life when i was 13 and was willing to deal with me acting like a complete teenage beast. He has always supported every decision i have ever made. He has been more of a dad to me than my bio. dad ever was.
He will be walking me down the aisle this November and i am proud to call him my dad

My dad was probably the hardest working man I have ever known.... between farming, a factory job and running his own business he worked like a dog everyday... so he wasn't around all the time.... but when he was he tried to teach us kids ethics, morals and values. He did his very best to give us everything he could. My mother was a cancer patient, so he showed us what true compassion and love was. He never left her side unless he had to... and he strived everyday to show us that faith and love were the two biggest things that anyone can have. Even to this day.... he is not only Dad.... he is my friend and confidant.

honestly my dad wouldn't be considered "the best" by anyone's standards.
he left when i was 2, moved far away without saying goodbye, started 2 new families (which he also abandoned and has never paid support for any of his children), he drinks heavily, now lives in my grandmother's basement, really doesn't know when my birthday is, and dates women younger than me (i'm 22).
.....but despite all of that i know i'll still pick up my phone today and call him for the first time in months to wish him happy father's day. he physically created me and all his flaws helped turned me into who i am today....and i like who i am.

the dad i consider to be my dad is not my biological dad. and that is what makes him best! he toke me in his heart, and treated me like his daughter, when my real father abandoned me, and rejected me! I truley believe it takes more then just some sperm being donated to be a father! and that is all my biological father was, a sperm donar!

He has the best sence of humor! Can make me laugh even if I'm in the worst mood. And he takes care of the whole family, including my mom.
