This year's US Open at Winged Foot features a 640 yard par 5. However, it is only the second longest par 5 in US Open history. The longest, 642 yards was played at Southern Hills in 2001.

The longest par 5 ever in any major event was last year's 17th at Baltustrol in the PGA Championship. It was an astonishing 647 yards.
