A tourist visa is 3 months. I'm not looking for ways around the problem, but specifically what the penalties might be. Small fine I've heard, but any problems coming back again?

I don't know, but I don't think there would be a problem returning to Israel next time. Israel *normally* works on the "machar" system--everything is always late. They'll do what they can to get money from you, but I don't think anyone would hold it against you...

But check with your local Israeli Consulate to be sure.

Overstaying your visa is in no way a useful decision and should be prevented if in any respect plausible. i don't be taught about eire's immigration guidelines yet i comprehend contained in the U. S. in case you overstay your visa for more effective than one hundred eighty days you'll face eliminating court cases to be deported from the U. S.. in the journey that your overstay is more effective than one hundred eighty days yet below one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days then you actually will be inadmissible to the U. S. for 3 years and in case you overstay for one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or more effective you'd be inadmissible for ten years.

Nothing will happen but there is a chance that if a policeman will check your passport while you are out of status then you will go to the police station to fill up a report and you may be be under arrest for a day or two... the rest will be with the immigration department.
