When both side are pink and the shrimp does not feel soft. Approximately 3 to 5 minutes depends on the side of shrimp and how you cook them.

Shrimp cooks fairly quickly. Of course temperature dictates how long, so it depends if you're using gas or charcoal. I use charcoal and shoot for like 2 minutes a side max. Watch the color closely because overcooked shrimp is a waste.

Grill or broil extra jumbo shrimp for 6 minutes, jumbo for 5 minutes, extra large for 4 minutes and large for 3 minutes. Baste with oil or marinade. Turn once halfway during cooking process.

you should grill shrimp until it is pink and puffs up if you cleaned them right (slitting the underside and cleaning out the dirt)

It all depends on how you cook them, BBQ, in a pan, for soup, etc. The best way to tell is when they appear to lose their translucency, and become a nice white color. Be careful not to over cook them, they will become tough and rubbery.

Just until it turns pink - which varies depending on the temp of the coals!
