Yes, people can survive without love, but unfortunately they will be more vulnerable to illnesses, since love was proved to improve the activity of the immune system, so they will be more likely to have a shorter life span. A single person is more susceptible to mental illnesses than married one. So, love is certainly good for your health.

I survived without love for years. I had no family and no girl. I had my friends, but that was all. But now that I've found a wonderful woman, my life is much better.

I probably could, cause I'm a tough old knot, but I sure wouldn't want to. Without loving, and being loved, what's the purpose of life? I was put on earth to love, and give, and share. That's my goal, to do it to the best of my ability.

Everyone is passionate about something...it doesn't have to be someone of the opposite sex...but I believe that it is health to love something...
