I don't know where are you from, so may be you writes 'hindus'. Actually, 'Dalit' is a small cast, which is you can find at only one indian state, Bihar. Bihar is a small state which is located at eastern India.. Where education lavel is still lower then any other state.. but atteck on Dalit communities, this is wrong phrace.. Because there is attecks on both side and this heppens only because of poverty and some other reason like revenge.... it is not like a people they are attecking on Dalits every where.. india is a very large country and also it has second largest population in the world but this is also true that more then 80 to 90% of this kind attecks are belongs to politics... And why is this....? That we know all.......that why???

in fact these days the uppercast people do not want the caste system as there are too many privilages( Reservations) to the dalits for those of u dont have this knowledge there is about 90% reservation for the lower casts. ie to be eligible for a job or entry into a collage the chances of getting in is 90% less for a forward class person

Caste system has nothing to do with Hindu Religion. It is a social Evil of India.

Like racism is not connected to christianity, even though all the racists are christians.

Authentic scriptures of Hinduism are Vedas, and Upanishadas and none of them have any mention of Caste system. In Gita Shri Krishna has clearly refuted caste, creed and gender discriminations

Dalits in India had been in pitiable condition earlier, but now with reservations, they are enjoying more and more power. So much so that the so called Higher castes are becoming Dalits.

dalits had been on highest posts in India...Two Presidents of India (the highest post) and many Minister, senior officers were/are dalits.

There is a little exaggeration in telling about Dalits, because this is more a political agenda now in India...to get more votes of Dalits cry about them.

And you will be surprised, even muslims and christians indirectly follow the caste system in India...so it is more of a social evil like dowry...which will be eradicated once education goes to villages and remote places.

But it will vanish if we did not have politicians, who fan the differences for their power-hunger

first of all you should know who Hindus are.
1. Are they genetically tranmitted sects?
2.Is it because of the place of birth in terms of geographical location,tradition,cultureRITUALS&VEDAS,style of living,decendence of so called Yogis,Gnanis or in understandable terms-Enlightened Souls ....etc.?
3.The faith in terms of so many Gods pertaining to the Cosmic entities found out so far by the humanity in terms of astrology,astronamy....etc?
4.Since you know the racial discriminations in every part of the Globe in terms of colour,complexion,caste,creed,living style according to the topography......so on and on
5.I have not seen a real human being so far (as understood by the humanity in terms of prevalence of socalled sixth sense).
6.Eventhough there are so many points to be included,it is upto you analyse and infer.
7.Do you know so many socalled hindus being continuously tortured by the same sect?
8.Above all try to understand the intrinsically inherent prevalence of the Cosmic Soul and it's state of being.

first thing caste system is slowly moving out of society(few thing is such you cant do it in one stroke) and reason for cast ism looks same as racism in white(mostly Christian) toward black as many white believe we are better/good than black upper caste Hindu use to believe we are better/good and use to do thing similar which white do to black so racism(cast ism is one type racism) is global thing not just only Hindu
