ok. i finally talked to this guy and we determined that we haven't seen eachother in 8 months....so for now we are just friends. i used to like this guy and he said "FOR NOW" he only likes me as a friend. he likes this other girl (probably temporary) but i was wondering what should i do when i see him...yes be myself...but when he gets over the girl..? he is probably rejoing the (my) swimteam so we'll get to talk more...but help! i could use some advice from the guys to!

You seem kind of desperate if you are willing to wait for him to get over another girl. Even if he does, there is no guarantee you will be next in line. Do you like it when a guy asks you out and he seems kind of deperate?

Well, in my opinion, timing is everything. If not now, maybe later. If he's a nice guy, continue to be friends and nice to him. If something works out later on down the line then great! The worst thing that could happen is you have a friend out of the whole thing.
