One of the best but unusual Hamburgers I have ever eaten was from a german butcher In new Jersey. He called it a shroomburger.

What it was was a very large burger and by large I mean it took up a 12 inch plate. Looked like a regular big hamburger. But in the middle of the burger inside of the burger it was loaded with cheddar cheese and sauted mushroom's. and the burger itself was marinated in a thick BBQ sauce.

Was probably one of the best burgers I have ever had the privledge to eat and also was probably one of the most expensive I have ever eat. It costed 12 dollars for the burger.

FireDog in Bay St. Louis use to have a "Juicy Lucy" and it was fabulous! They were huge burgers grilled with cheese inside. Unfortunately, Hurricane Katrina took the FireDog and the burgers with it. Makes my mouth water just thinking of them.

The one at Mama's Cafe in Houston. It's got refried beans, corn chips (Fritos), and pico de gallo on it (in addition to the hamburger patty and cheddar cheese).

It sounds a little weird but it's incredible!
