Well, it depends how you look at it. You could see Blackboard, Teacher, Desk just as well.
Edit: Just occured to me that 'irate' should be 'Ir8' (teacher comes out from behind desk). 'l8r' ought to stand for someone or something who brings joy - an 'elator' (There was a difference between 'I' and 'l' when I typed it, honest!)

Here in China they drive me crazy saying "I will go your home 2 days later" when they mean "in 2 days' time". I suppose it's reasonable enough as we do say "See you later" - but it doesn't work (from present time) when you add a time marker.
