Why do people feel the need to convert good heathen folks via Yahoo answers?

lol, yeah that means you god fearing christian people out there. Ever notice how most of them come down on anything that is not what they want to see...DONT LOOK!!!!!!! do you really think that if you say your opinion that anyone but your kind cares, that it will change someone...it wont, GIVE UP!!!! I mean, you wont listen to what I am saying either. Its pointless, but my point is to perhaps have some people think about this, who arent so shallow. Especially those of you who arent trying to convert the masses, and those who dont profess to be christian, and are trying to do things that you feel is right or just. Alot of christians assume that if you arent christian, then you must be doing "the devils work" lol, what do you call JUDGING PEOPLE!

I want you to know that there is a man in California who sent me a CD with the Bible on it in 24 hours.

Now, I'm pretty much an agnostic, I don't intend to become a fundamentalist Christian. But because of yahoo answers this man sent me a CD with his religious text on it and I'm going to learn something.

A Qu'ran is coming in the mail. I have no intention of being a muslim. There are muslims I have met of yahoo answers who will email with me about questions I have. They are honored I am going to learn about their religion.

Perhaps what angers you is that there are people who have a faith and are sharing it. You don't have to read.

And to the point of the first poster, YES IM TRYING TO CONVERT EVERYONE TO DARWINISM

Some people think when I voice my oppinion I'm trying to convert people, but that's just not the case. I like to engage in debate, not preaching. In a debate both sides have to listen to the other and think about what the other side is saying, in preaching you just say what you want to say and ignore the other person. And I hate when people say I'm a pawn of satan, where do they get off judging people anyway? Isn't that supposed to be God's right and God's only? I'm an atheist and can't stand how Christians don't practice what they preach.

I'm sorry to say but according to your way with words you speak as if you represent majority non-believing popular opinion, and your predjudices permeate out through the attitude of your words. Believe it or not some people in the world don't see things exactly the way that you see them. One of the biggest problems with people, and I mean all people (Christian, and all else), is that they tend to personalize the world according to their views never use understanding or attempt to see things in a different light. Stop being so arrogant in your thinking and be a little open minded to what you don't understand and maybe your opinion will change. God Bless.

Doesn't matter who you are...that's the biggest problem today is people (especially Christians) imposing their religion on other people. I have had more friends told they're going to hell, including myself, becuase I've never read the bible and I don't go to church. It is a BIG problem in today's society that no one is doing anything about because there is nothing that can be done...it's their "free speech," even though it violates the rights of non-Christians. It sucks.

And here I thought Yahoo Answers was really for people looking for answers. If I wanted an answer on history, I would look in the section on history. If I wanted to know something about computers, I would go to the Answers in the computer category. once you've skills, please positioned up your poems. there is in no way too a lot good poetry contained in the international. i have study some poems in this web site that really are not functional and some that were. no human being might want to inform you you're not any further welcome. in simple terms positioned it up there. besides, to respond to your question. often times at the same time as i bypass to Polls and Surveys i'm getting the feeling that is like the in crowd from my intense college days. like you're both component of it or you're not any further. like you pick some variety of particular card or some thing to achieve admission. i do not comprehend. i guess it really is in simple terms my lack of self belief popping out.

lol. yeah man, its too bad that more ppl dont realize that same bible they're quoting says "judge not lest ye be judged", and "let him who is without sin cast the first stone". jesus taught his followers to love all ppl, even their enemies. and if someone wronged them, they should turn the other cheek. just goes to show that even things started with the best of intentions can go way wrong.

i think we should all live just trying to be good ppl, and not worrying about what religion everyone is. if we all focused on being cool on a day to day basis, we'd be way better off.
