Well, there was this one time when I was a kid that while Dad was at work, he learned that I was hit by a car, so he rushed out of work and drove over 70 miles an hour on a 55 mph road full of curves to see me.

I don't know why but that was kinda heartwarming.

Now that my mom has passed, my dad and I are getting closer than ever. When I had a major bi-polar episode, my husband called him. He drove 20 miles to try to see me, but the cops wouldn't let him. He didn't ask any questions, he just came. At the time I didn't want him there, but now that I am on the right medication I'm so glad he was there!

How my dad sleepwalked out of his house then woke up outside in his boxers! It was the middle of the night and no-one woke up to him knocking on the door so he had to climb in through a tiny window, lol!
