Yes they are edible although not very easy to digest causing some sensitive people mild digestive problems. They are also the source of "heat" in the chili pepper, so if you like spice ---eat them. Most spicy curry pastes, salsas, dips....contain pureed & ground up chillies with the seeds & membranes (also where the "heat" can be found).

Yes, The membrane is the hot part it contains the oils and the seeds are coated in this oil so they have a bit to them also. The more seeds and membrane the hotter they are.

Ha ha...my cockatiel hasn't eaten chilli seeds yet my different parrot (he's a kakariki) ate a warm chilli, seeds and all in some unspecified time sooner or later. i do not comprehend even if or not they can experience the nice and cozy temperature or no longer yet quickly after, he had dunked himself thoroughly in his bath. He became thoroughly saturated. doesn't end him, even if. he's a nut.

Yes , but be careful as the seeds can be hot, if it is a hot pepper. You can even plant the seeds and grow your own veggies. I do it all the time.

yeah, my family grind our own chilli so the seeds are grinded together. when we eat, we eat the seeds too.
