Sounds of the Night?

Why do sounds seems to carry much better early in the morning and at at nignt. It appers to be related to something other than the ambient noise levels being lowered.

Air becomes denser as it cools. It transfers sound better when it is denser.

sound need medium to trevel from without a medium it cannot travel
better the meium greater the speed of sound as air becomes denser in the morning sound travels better
