You know what i mean, they wave it like they are saying goodbye but really slow with their head up and eyes half closed as if in estacy or slight orgasm..Ive seen it on tv, and in person. Mostly it is old women who seem enthralled by the preachers sexual religion piety aura. Im not sure...there has to be some link to mass hysteria, even if they arent hysterical (yet).

Those christians wave their hands so that the rest of us level-headed people can see where all of the nuts are in the audience. Perhaps they're saying goodbye to their sanity. This helps the mental health workers find them faster when they come to take them away! (LOL LOL STILL LOL!!)

They are worshiping their God.They are totally enthralled by what the preacher is preaching. I grew up in a Pentecostal church. The ones that did that were supposed to be the real Christians who were close to God. Don't know if they were or not.

It's call Praising the Lord, but of course you would have to the a Christian to understand what this means. Go to Romans:10:9-13 and read how to become one then it will all become clear

Its the same thing when kids go to rock or rap shows, they throw their hands in the air, and wave 'em like they just don't care. I feel sorry for the old ladies who feel attracted to the preachers, who are themselves only attracted to little boys, its a vicious circle.

The people that think it's necessary say that they're doing that because they honestly think they feel God's touch.
I personally think it's someone trying to show that they're more Christian than the other one. I think it's phony.
But, that is my personal opinion. haha
But, in answer...yes, most that do this (I know quite a few) believe they can feel God, or the Power of God, by doing this.
