Note that there are often more than one person with the same name. John Allen Smith is the name of at least 10,000 people. You will need address(es) and DOB. If the person is under 16 (like I suspect you are), you will not find anything. I share my full name with at least two others in the USA, and first and last with about 6 or 7.

Your first question should be to yourself. Why? Why is it important to know this information. would it change your opinion of someone. I believe you already know that answer. That is why you asked it in the first place. People are hung up on other people's past and are just not using this information correctly. What you use today may be used against you tomorrow. I doubt that the info you are looking for is what you want to find.If this person is a friend maybe you should asked them first?!!!
Like you know what I mean being young and all!!!

You can look up anyone's conviction record by going to the state's website where you live or where you believe the offense occurred and going to the department of corrections website where you will need his/her name and some other info to search their database.
If a person was convicted, it is public record unless they are underage.

You can search the FBI and Interpol websites, check with your state (I'm guessing you're in US) website to see if he's a registered sex offender.
