She could have worms, I guess. Take her to a veterinarian to be certain.

How old is your cat? I'm taking care of an old orange cat at the shelter I volunteer at right now. He seems to eat well enough, but he's very thin and I think that comes from old age. However, your cat may also have a stomach disorder that could cause it to be unnaturally thin. Does it "complain" when you pick it up? If so, you're cat may have this problem. Either way, see a vet. An ideal cat's weight should be between 5 and 15 pounds, depending on how big its body structure is.

no longer truly as she desires a vet urgently as a gloomy colour diarrhoea is an indication of inner bleeding(if its very dark almost black) so she could have been poisoned and the quicker she is seen by a vet the greater beneficial so do no longer postpone in case you go with for to maintain her,as she would be able to additionally grow to be dehydrated and what ever she has eaten will take as much as her blood circulate if it hasn't completed already. Edit:Any digestive issues that make a cat lethergic could desire to be taken care of by a vet as digestive issues in cats are severe.

I have seven cats and I bet you she has tape worms. Not treatable with over the counter med.s you have to go to the vet and get her a pill made just for Tape worms. They are only four or five dollars. Its the office call that will cost twenty or so. But she is worth every penny. Fleas cause Tape worms and if you don't keep Revolution or Advantage on her you will have a serious problem. If a flea jumps on her and she bites it to get it off, and swallows it, guess... Tape worms. Please take her to the vet!!!!!

You didn't say how old your cat is so it's hard to answer. But regardless, take her to the vet. I have a cat that is 16 yrs old and I feel like he's lived so long because I've taken such good care of him. He goes every year for his shots and I feed him special food that I buy from the vet. I know he won't live forever, but I hope to have him around a few more years. He's my baby. lol

Have her teeth checked at the vet. She may have a bad tooth or an infected one, and that can kill her. Even if she's eating, she may be eating less, or throwing it up later because she didn't chew it properly, and thus losing the weight. I had this same problem, and once we had the one tooth pulled, she's back to normal and everything is fine. But it could kill her, so get her checked.

This happened to one of our cats, but she was plump to begin with. She got down to skeleton & skin with jaundice. The diagnosis was fatty liver disease. After several weeks of force feeding, (she had lost her appetite), she was able to recover. Now she is back to her pre-sick weight and doing just fine. A vet's tests will give you the answer you seek. Don't delay.

I'm sure others have answered this question the same way I am:
Please take your cat to the vet and have it checked. It needs your best help, and your best help is to ask a vet.

Just rename the cat Nicole Richie or Lindsay Lohen and that should make it a little easier to accept your boney kitty.

This is one time you should take her to the vet first thing tomorrow morning. This is not normal and she should be checked over by a professional.
